NRL Round 22 Preview - Sea Eagles v Bulldogs @ Lottoland

Manly Sea Eagles v Canterbury Bulldogs at Lottoland

Preview - Both the Sea Eagles and Bulldogs will be looking for back-to-back victories when they clash at Lottoland on Saturday night. The Sea Eagles won a wild Golden Point game 33-32 against the Sharks as they showed, despite their lowly position on the ladder, they still retain the firepower to trouble the better sides. The Bulldogs produced arguably the best performance of their season with a 36- 22 victory over the Broncos, to make it two wins on the bounce, as they show signs of life after a tough season.

Manly Sea Eagles’ Scouting Report - Trent Barrett has made just the one change with moving Frank Winterstein to the interchange bench in place of Jack Gosiewski.

Canterbury Bulldogs’ Scouting Report - the Bulldogs welcome back one of their regulars this seasons with Jeremy Marshall-King returning at halfback in place of Matt Frawley. David Klemmer is back from suspension to boost the forward pack, pushing Danny Fualalo to the bench

Verdict - Sea Eagles by 4-12

Both these lower ranked sides have played some really good footy the past couple of weeks. Both sides should be equally motivated, sitting on 6 wins each, and a victory would pretty much ensure that side would not claim the wooden spoon. I will go for Manly because they are at home and, with three Origin players, I think they have a little more strike power than the Bulldogs.
