10 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $2.17 - Parramatta +16.5 Super Line @ $1.43 v Dragons into Cowboys +14.5 Super Line v Rabbitohs @ $1.52
I think, despite both the Eels and Cowboys sitting at the bottom of the table, they face the Dragons and Rabbitohs at a time when they are not going to be at their best. Both those sides have a number of players backing up from Origin and are likely to be a little flat, given their lofty positions on the ladder and the fact these are not must-win games. The Dragons are likely to rest some of their Rep players whilst the Rabbitohs only beat the Cowboys by one point six weeks ago in Townsville. Whilst this is a Rabbitohs’ home game, it is being played in Cairns which gives the Cowboys an advantage.
7 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $3.06 - Sweet Spot Warriors +8.5 and Sharks +11.5 @ $.175 into Sweet Spot Roosters +5.5 and Storm +14.5 @ $.175
I think both these Friday night games will be crackers, with all four sides sitting inside the Top 8 and jostling for Top 4 positions over the final nine weeks. Both the away sides, the Sharks and the Warriors, have the chance to either close the gap or leapfrog their opponents on the table, so there is plenty at stake in both games. I expect both to be close games throughout, so the sweet spot looks a good bet as I can’t see any side losing by more than a try.
3 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $9.80 - Knights 1-12 v Bulldogs @ $.2.80 into Raiders 1-12 v Broncos @ $.3.50
I think the Bulldogs are going to struggle to beat anyone for the rest of the season; however I expect some sort of reaction from their poor show against the Titans. The Knights’ victories this season have generally been by slender margins so I don’t expect them to have it all their own way. The Raiders have been involved in so many close games this season, as have the Broncos, so I’m going for an upset, with Josh Hodgson back, and the Raiders to win a game they really need to keep their finals’ hopes alive.
