NRL Round 11 Preview - My Best Bets

RUNNING TALLY = +73 Units

9 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $3.02 (Souths at @$1.73 v Cowboys Head to Head into Sweet Spot Panthers +5.5 and Wests Tigers +14.5 @ $1.75)

I just think Souths are a far better football team than the Cowboys in 2018. They are far quicker in the outside backs and have more power and variety in their forwards, and they are in fantastic form having beaten the Dragons convincingly last start. The Cowboys look slow and stale and have been all season. The Tigers have already been involved in 7 games this season decided by 8 points or less, and 6 games decided by 2 points or less, so I expect another close affair in a Western Sydney derby.

8 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $2.81 (Manly +6.5 v Storm @ $1.85 into Bulldogs Super Line +10.5 @ $1.52)

The Storm have been patchy this season and they will be missing their most important player in captain and dummy half Cameron Smith. Without Smith in the side they have often looked a completely different football team, and I expect Manly to build off a great performance last week against Brisbane. The Bulldogs have been competitive in all their losses this season, whilst the Sharks last 5 victories have all been by 8 points or less.

3 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $9.90 (Warriors 1-12 v Eels @ $3 into Titans 1-12 v Knights @ $3.30)

I think both these games are going to be closely contested with the teams’ form not easy to get a read on. The Titans having lost 5 straight and will be desperate for a win, and are at home against a Knights’ side clearly missing Mitchell Pearce. The Warriors have bounced back from a poor performance already this year, and with Issac Luke back, I think they can beat Parramatta, although away from home I don’t expect them to have it all their own way.
