NRL Round 24 Preview - Dragons v Bulldogs @ Jubilee Stadium

St. George Illawarra Dragons v Canterbury Bulldogs @ Jubilee Stadium

Preview -
The Dragons will be looking for momentum heading into the finals as they host the Bulldogs at Jubilee Stadium on Sunday afternoon The Dragons got a hugely needed confidence boosting 20-10 victory over the Tigers at a sold-out Leichhardt Oval on Saturday night for their first victory in a month. The Bulldogs continued their decent form towards the end of their season with a thrilling 27-16 victory over the Warriors to keep them one game in front of the Eels and Cowboys with two rounds to go.

St. George Illawarra Dragons’ Scouting Report - Veteran Jason Nightingale returns on the wing, with Jordan Pereira going back to the bench. Enforcer prop Paul Vaughan (ankle) has been named in reserves and could be a late inclusion.

Canterbury Bulldogs’ Scouting Report - Dean Pay has named an unchanged side from the one which toppled the Warriors last week.

Verdict - Dragons by 1-10

Going for the Dragons here as they play well at Jubilee; however, I think this game will be very close. The Dragons did a great backs-to-the wall job last week; however the Tigers were awful at Leichhardt turning over so much ball. Think this game will be close, however, given the home ground advantage, and with their Top 4 spot on the line, think the Dragons can win by 1-12.
