NRL Round 21 Preview - Bulldogs v Broncos @ ANZ Stadium

Canterbury Bulldogs v Brisbane Broncos @ ANZ Stadium

Preview - The Broncos will be looking to keep charging up the competition ladder as they visit the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium on Thursday night. The Broncos held on for a gritty 12-10 victory over the Sharks to remain in 7th spot, but just one game behind the 4th placed Dragons. The Bulldogs got a reward for their endeavours with a determined 16-4 victory over the Tigers in a pretty underwhelming game at ANZ Stadium.

Canterbury Bulldogs’ Scouting Report -The Bulldogs lose one of their key players with David Klemmer out through suspension.  Danny Fualalo starts at prop, with mid-season recruit Chris Smith to make his Club debut off the bench.

Brisbane Broncos’ Scouting Report - The Broncos have named an unchanged 17 to the one that got over the Sharks. Darius Boyd remains in the centres, with Matt Lodge named to start again despite coming off the bench the past couple of weeks.

Verdict – Broncos by 6-16

Expecting, like most Bulldogs’ games, the home side to make the Broncos work for their win. However, the Broncos have more firepower than the Tigers, and I think the Bulldogs will really miss Klemmer up front as they battle to contain some of the Broncos’ younger forwards. Expecting a low scoring game, but the Broncos to win by 6-12 points.
