NRL Round 23 Preview - Sea Eagles v Titans @ Brookvale Oval

NRL Round 23 Preview - Sea Eagles v Titans @ Brookvale Oval

Manly Sea Eagles v Gold Coast Titans @ Brookvale Oval

Preview - Both the Sea Eagles and Titans will be playing for pride when they clash at Lottoland on Friday night. The Sea Eagles grabbed a dour 18-6 victory over the Bulldogs to get themselves away from the dreaded Wooden Spoon. The Titans were left with their hearts broken as they conceded two tries in the final 10 minutes against the Panthers, to lose 17-16 in Golden Point in a game that they controlled for large periods.

Manly Sea Eagles’ Scouting Report - The only change for Trent Barrrett’s men is on the bench, with Lloyd Perrett replacing Taniela Paseka.

Gold Coast Titans’ Scouting Report - Garth Brennan also makes just the one change with Brenko Lee moving into the centres in place of Brendon Elliott.

Verdict - Manly by 1-12

Manly should win this game at home against a Titans’ side that might be flat after putting so much into last week’s game. The Titans probably deserved to win against the Panthers, but they have rarely put in two decent performances back-to-back all season, so I would rather go with the Sea Eagles being at home coming off a win.
