NRL Round 20 Preview - Titans v Warriors @ CBUS Super Stadium
Gold Coast Titans v New Zealand Warriors @ CBUS Super Stadium
Preview - The Titans host the Warriors on the Gold Coast on Sunday as they look to end a 3-game losing skid. The Titans coughed up a game they should have won on the road last week, blowing a 30-24 lead to go down to the Knights. The Warriors battled hard, but couldn't break down a resilient Storm, going down 12-6 at home to remain two games clear of 9th in 8th place, with six rounds remaining.
Gold Coast Titans’ Scouting Report - The Titans have just the one change with Will Matthews replaces Leilani Latu on the bench.
New Zealand Warriors’ Scouting Report - The Warriors welcome back a couple of key senior players with Blake Green returning at five-eight, and Tohu Harris in the back row. Simon Mannering moves to lock, with Adam Blair suspended.
Verdict - Warriors by 4-12 in a high scoring game
The Warriors have an outstanding record on the Gold Coast and I can see them running roughshod over the Titans here. The Warriors have bounced back from losses in much better fashion this year, and the Titans appear to me to be a side heading nowhere fast and with little to play for. Think this could be a real high scoring game with most of the points coming from the visitors.
