NFL Week 4 - Thursday Night Football Preview

Miami Dolphins (1-2) @ Cincinnati Bengals (1-2) - Paul Brown Stadium

It's crunch time come early in week 4 for the Bengals and Dolphins as they meet at Paul Brown Stadium on Thursday Night Football. It is a must win for the hyped up Bengals who dropped to 1-2 for the first time since 2011 and are below .500 for the first time since 2014. The Bengals offence was held in check by the reigning champions last week as Denver limited the Bengals to 16 points and Andy Dalton to just 205 yards of passing. The Dolphins broke through last week with a 30-24 overtime victory over the Browns in their opening home game of the year. The Dolphins run game has been struggling this year however quarterback Ryan Tannehill has thrown for over 300 yards in his last 2 starts. The Dolphins have won their last 3 games against the Bengals.

Verdict - Bengals 21 Dolphins 20.

I think the Dolphins can go awfully close to pulling off a big road upset here. The Bengals have been uninspiring to start the season and are under pressure to lift their game. Miami have already been extremely competitive in tough road games against Seattle and New England. However on a short turn around on the road, I have to give the Bengals the advantage here. However, I think they barely hold on for a 1 point win.
