NFL Week 7 - Thursday Night Preview
Chicago Bears (1-5) @ Green Bay Packers (3-2) - Lambeau Field
The Packers look to get their season back on track as they host struggling divisional rival the Bears on Thursday Night Football at Lambeau Field. Superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been well below his best this year completing his passes at just 56% which is staggeringly the worst in the NFL. Rodgers uncharacteristically threw a total of 3 interceptions in the Packers last 2 homes against the Giants and Cowboys. The Bears have been competitive in their last few games, however at 1-5 look like a team in with a shot at the number 1 draft pick heading into 2017. Brian Hoyer has done a stellar job as back quarterback and may well keep his job ahead of Jay Cutler when he returns from injury.
Verdict - Packers 30 Bears 14
Surely the Packers can steady the ship here and get a convincing win over the struggling Bears. Aaron Rodgers has been placed under pressure of late in the media and I expect him to rebound with his best game of the season here against the Bears.
