NRL Round 24 Preview - Roosters v Broncos @ Allianz Stadium

Sydney Roosters v Brisbane Broncos @ Allianz Stadium
Preview – It’s a blockbuster on Saturday night as the Roosters host the Broncos in the battle of two finals’ bound Clubs at Allianz Stadium. The Roosters’ hopes of winning the Minor Premiership suffered a blow as they were upset by the Raiders 14-12 in Canberra. The Broncos continued their trend of rising for the bigger teams as they demolished the Rabbitohs 38-18 at Suncorp to practically lock in their finals’ hopes with two rounds remaining.
Sydney Roosters’ Scouting Report - A huge inclusion for the Roosters, with star five eight Luke Keary back to partner Cooper Cronk in the halves. Ryan Matterson goes back to the bench, whilst Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has been named on the reserves list and could be a late inclusion.
Brisbane Broncos’ Scouting Report - Wayne Bennett makes just minor reshuffles with Kotoni Staggs replacing Patrick Mago on the bench and Matt Lodge named to start in place of Joe Ofahengaue.
Verdict - Roosters by 4-12 in a low scoring game
Just think the Roosters have better control than the Broncos in crunch situations. Brisbane are great when they get a mountain of ball on a dry track, but I don’t trust their halves to get things right in clutch moments. Expecting a dewy surface for a night game and the Broncos to take it to the Roosters, but the Roosters to sneak home in a tight game.
