15 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $2.35 - Dragons +8.5 Super Line v Storm @ $1.55 into Panthers +8.5 Super line v Warriors @ $1.52
If I were a little braver I would take the Dragons to win this game as I’m surprised they are heavy underdogs. They still have three quarters of their first choice spine in tact, with Dufty, Widdop and McGuinnes, and a strong backline from 1-5 at full strength. I know Cameron Smith is available for the Storm, however unlike the Dragons, who have predominantly lost forwards to Origin, the Storm have more points and attacking personnel lost in Addo Carr, Chambers and Munster. The Panthers, despite missing their Origin halves, are one of the Clubs with great depth and, at home off the back of two losses, I see them relishing coming into this game as an underdog. The Warriors, as a heavy favourite on the road, isn't a position I 100% trust in.
5 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $4.32 - Raiders to win v Bulldogs @ $1.44 into Broncos 1-12 v Titans @ $3
I understand the Raiders are hard to trust, however on paper they have a far superior side to the Bulldogs. Even if they clock off they should have enough points in them to win this game comfortably. The Broncos have been the masters of the close games this year, winning 8 games by the 1-12 margin, and I’m expecting this game to go down to the wire against the Titans. Happy to be with Brisbane, given they are not as affected by Origin as they are most years.
