NRL Round 14 Preview - My Best Bets (20 Unit Bank)

10 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $2.40 - Super Line Souths -2.5 v Titans @ $1.60 into Sharks to win v Tigers @ 1.50
These are my two morals of the week. I know Souths have players backing up, however they played outstandingly well, even without them last week. They should have far too many weapons for a Gold Coast side that can leak points quickly defensively. The Sharks are renowned for bouncing back off an ugly performance at home, after they struggled against Souths last week. The Tigers look to have hit the wall for me and I don’t think they have the points in them to worry Cronulla.
7 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $3.06 Sweet Spot Raiders +11.5 and Panthers +8.5 @ $1.75 into Sweet Spot Manly +13.5 and Warriors +6.5 @ $1.75
With Penrith having players backing up from Origin I expect this game to go down to the wire. Despite their outstanding performance of late, going to a chilly Canberra on a Friday night will be a tough assignment so I expect this game to be close throughout. Similarly, I think Manly will be competitive against the Warriors given their outstanding record against them in recent years. However the fact they have given away the home advantage playing in Canterbury, New Zealand, means the most likely result for me is a close win to the Warriors, hence taking the sweet spot.
3 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $8.40 - Roosters 1-12 v Knights @ $3 into Dragons 1-12 v Bulldogs @ $2.80
Both the Roosters and Dragons have Top 4 aspirations and I expect them to get the job done against sides outside the Top 8. However, the Knights are back at home for the first time in three weeks and will be more competitive off their strong performance against Parramatta. Similarly the Bulldogs have already lost 7 games by 1-12 this season so I expect them to be competitive, but not have the class to get the job done.
