9 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $2.55 - Broncos Super Line +6.5 v Sharks @ $1.70 into Raiders Super Line +6.5 v Tigers @ $1.50
The Sharks have won 9 games this season, but plenty of them have been by close margins and I don’t see that changing as they are that style of team. Brisbane are desperate for a victory to stay in touch with the Sharks on the ladder and, with James Roberts back, I see them pushing the Sharks all the way here. If they can’t get the win, I expect them to go down by a narrow margin. Similarly the Raiders need a win to stay in touch with the Tigers on the ladder who are two wins in front of them. The Raiders have belted the Tigers the last three times they have played them, and play the sort of offloading and attacking game that can worry a smaller team like the Tigers.
8 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $2.79 - Souths to beat Parramatta at $1.30 into Cowboys to beat Warriors @ $2.15
A 2 leg Friday night footy multi, very keen on both sides. The Rabbitohs will have far too many weapons for the Eels right across the park, whilst I expect the Cowboys to deliver their best performance in a number of weeks, after how embarrassing they were against the Eels. The Warriors have an awful record in Townsville and, with the Cowboys having been so ordinary of home of late, they are due a win there.
3 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $9.28 = Roosters 1-12 v Panthers @ $3.20 into Bulldogs 1-12 v Titans @ $2.90
I think the Roosters have been building to a real statement type performance and they get that chance here against the Panthers at home on a Friday night. Panthers could be a little vulnerable coming off a tough away game, and having won 5 straight can afford a loss. The Bulldogs have been on the end of so many near misses this season, that back at their spiritual home at Belmore I think they can lift and get a close win. They are a proud Club and they’re in a wooden spoon battle right now, and they really can’t afford to drop this game against the Titans.
