NRL Round 14 Preview - Storm v Broncos @ AAMI Park

Melbourne Storm v Brisbane Broncos @ AAMI Park
Preview - The Storm and Broncos collide with both sides fresh off a bye at AAMI Park on Sunday afternoon. With both sides sitting at 7-5 after the first half of the season, it’s a crucial game with both teams having players on the quick back up from Origin. Melbourne scraped home for a 7-6 victory over the Cowboys in Round 12, whilst the Broncos were unconvincing but got the job done 18-10 against the Eels in their last start.
Melbourne Storm Scouting Report - Craig Bellamy has named Cameron Munster, Will Chambers, Felise Kaufusi and Josh Addo-Carr to back up from Origin. Billy Slater has been left out of the side after missing Origin, while Jesse Bromwich starts at prop and Tim Glasby moves to lock in the absence of Dale Finucane.
Brisbane Broncos’ Scouting Report - The Broncos have named James Roberts, Anthony Milford, Josh McGuire and Andrew McCullough to back up from Origin. Experienced backrower Alex Glenn return to the team after injury layoffs, pushing Tevita Pangai Jnr and Joe Ofahengaue to the bench. .
Verdict - Storm by 1-6 in a high scoring game
Expect the Storm to win here given their great record against the Broncos, however don’t expect them to have it all their own way. The first time these two sides clashed we got one of the games of the season at Suncorp Stadium, with the Storm winning 34-24 and both sides combining for some fantastic tries. I think the Storm have been flaky in defence this yer compared to their usual standards so I think this could be high scoring again with both sides having plenty of strike power.
