NRL Round 12 Preview - Roosters v Titans @ Central Coast Stadium

NRL Round 12 Preview - Roosters v Titans @ Central Coast Stadium

Sydney Roosters v Gold Coast Titans - Central Coast Stadium

Preview -
The Roosters will be looking to hit back from their late collapse against the Broncos when they take a home game to the Central Coast against the Titans on Saturday afternoon. The Roosters played some great attacking football last week, but conspired to throw the game away late against the Broncos, going down 28-22 and remaining just inside the Top 8 nearly halfway through the season. The Titans finally snapped their 5-match losing streak, with an entertaining 33-26 victory over the Knights at home.

Sydney Roosters’ Scouting Report - The Roosters are unchanged after blowing a lead late in the game against the Broncos last week. James Tedesco’s form has picked up in the last couple of weeks as he looks to maintain his spot as Origin fullback.

Gold Coast Titans’ Scouting Report - The Titans AJ Brimson scored the match winning try at five eight last week, and remains partnered with Ash Taylor keeping Kane Elgey in reserves. Kevin Proctor is back, with Ryan James returning to the front row and Moeaki Fotuaika dropping out of the side.

Verdict - Roosters by 12-20 in a high scoring game

I think the Roosters will win this, however expecting them to do things easily this year is fraught with danger. The Titans are a dangerous attacking side, however for me their defence is too leaky to contain this Roosters’ side. Expecting this to be a high scoring game, however the Roosters to win fairly comfortably despite giving up some points.
