NRL Round 10 Preview - Sea Eagles v Broncos @ Suncorp Stadium

Manly Sea Eagles v Brisbane Broncos @ Suncorp Stadium
Preview - The Sea Eagles will be hoping to avoid a 5th straight loss when they host the Broncos at Brookvale Oval on Saturday night. Manly showed character in going down 22-20 to the Roosters, despite a desperate injury toll and the drama that has surrounded the Club since the pre-season. The Broncos got out of jail against the Bulldogs, winning 22-20, despite trailing for the majority of the match.
Manly Sea Eagles’ Scouting Report - The Sea Eagles have named an unchanged side from the one that put up a great fight against the Roosters last week despite going down. Dylan Walker has been cleared of a serious ankle injury, and is expected to start at five-eight after impressing there last week.
Brisbane Broncos’ Scouting Report - Wayne Bennett makes a host of changes, with Jack Bird moving back to centre, with Kodi Nikorima promoted into halfback in another key position shuffle. Tom Opacic moves to the bench. Payne Haas (ankle) has been named despite being ruled out for 2-4 rounds earlier in the week. Sam Tagataese is his likely replacement in the 17.
Verdict -Broncos by 8-16 in a high scoring game
On last week’s display you wouldn’t give Manly a big chance against Brisbane, however I’m not convinced they can replicate that energy and emotion they showed last week. The Broncos seem to be winning several close games this season, and they could easily be in a lot bigger trouble in the table had a few close games not fallen their way. With Manly giving up the home ground advantage here, I see Brisbane winning this game in what is sure to be an entertaining and open game of football, probably high scoring
