NRL Round 5 Preview - Tigers v Storm @ Mount Smart Stadium

Wests Tigers v Melbourne Storm @ Mount Smart Stadium
Preview - The Tigers and Storm clash for the second time in a month in the Auckland Double Header at Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers have stunned most in Rugby League by winning three of their opening four games, including belting Parramatta 30-20 in the Easter Monday game at ANZ Stadium. The Storm have made a patchy start to 2018, winning 2 from their opening 4 games, and failing to score a try in their disappointing 14-4 loss to the Sharks at Shark Park on Friday night.
Wests Tigers’ Scouting Report - No changes following three wins from four games for Ivan Cleary’s men. Josh Reynolds remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, with Benji Marshall pushing his case each week to make the Number 6 jersey his own.
Melbourne Storm Scouting Report - Craig Bellamy has a couple of problems heading into this game, with Will Chambers out through suspension, and Dale Finucane out through injury. Young Tonumaipea starts at centre, with Kenny Bromwich starting at lock.
Verdict - Storm by 1-6 in a low scoring game
It's hard to see a side like the Melbourne Storm losing to the same side twice in a month. They looked gutted when they lost to the Tigers in Billy Slater’s 300th game. Now this is Craig Bellamy’s 400th game against the same opponents, so I see them responding here. However the Tigers certainly will be no easy beats. The Storm are not playing fluent football at the moment, and some of their tactics are on the radar of the penalty happy referees. I see this game being similar to the 10-8 struggle a month ago, however I think the Storm can get revenge, given the Tigers are coming off a 5-day turnaround compared to the Storms 8-day turnaround, and the fact the Tigers have given up the home ground advantage by playing this game in New Zealand.
