NRL Round 6 - My Best Bets (20 Unit Bank)

NRL Best Bets Round 6 - (20 Unit Bank)
RUNNING TALLY = - 21 Units
10 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $1.86 (Storm to beat Knights @ $1.27 into Warriors to beat Brisbane @ $1.47)
The Storm have been far below their best over the opening 5 rounds, however I expect them to get the job done here against a Knights’ side they have an imperious record against. The Storm are staring down the barrel of 3 straight losses and I can’t see them getting beaten at home, with Newcastle having been poor in both their road games this season. I believe the Warriors are playing with more confidence and cohesion than the Broncos, and I can’t see the Broncos scoring enough points to be a factor here. Spurred on by another huge home crowd, I think they can dominate the Broncos through the middle here and win comfortably.
5 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $3.06 (Sweet Spot Dragons +4.5 and Sharks +15.5 @ $1.75 into Sweet Spot Cowboys +0.5 and Bulldogs +19.5 @ $1.75)
The Dragons and the Sharks have a recent history of really close and low scoring encounters and I can’t see this being too far different. I think, in front of what is sure to be sell-out crowd, as they try to beat their fiercest rivals for the second time this season, the Dragons winning a close-ish game is probably where the margin will lie. I could not tip the Bulldogs to beat anyone at the moment as I think they are a side with a lot of problems. However by the same token I don’t expect the Cowboys to blow anyone away with the football they are playing. The Cowboys are struggling mightily themselves; however, this looks like the sort of game where they can slowly bring themselves back to form. A close Cowboys’ victory looks the probable outcome for mine.
5 UNIT BET = 2 Leg Multi @ $2.70 (Raiders v Eels Over 39.5 Total Match Points @ $1.80 into Warriors v Broncos Over 31.5 Total Match Points @ $1.50)
These two sides, on a dry track in Canberra, I can see throwing caution to the wind here in order to try and get their seasons going. The Raiders showed glimpses of it last week, whilst the Eels will be boosted in attack by the return of both Gutherson and French. The Warriors and Broncos have played some high scoring games especially over the ditch over the years, and I can see this game being over 40 points with the Warriors scoring the majority of them.
