NRL Round 4 Preview - Dragons v Knights @ WIN Stadium

St. George Illawarra Dragons v Newcastle Knights @ Win Stadium
Preview - The unbeaten Dragons will be gunning for a fourth straight win to start season 2018, when they take on the Knights in Wollongong on Sunday. The Dragons put an exclamation point on their unbeaten start to the season with a 54-8 thumping of the Titans in Toowoomba on Sunday, underlying their serious Top 4 credentials. The Knights were brought back to earth with a disappointing 38-8 loss to the Roosters off the back of two great victories for the Club.
St. George Illawarra Dragons’ Scouting Report - Unsurprisingly Paul McGregor has made no changes following the record win over the Titans. The Dragons look like an attacking force in 2018, with Gareth Widdop having a brilliant game, as the side scored a number of breathtaking tries.
Newcastle Knights’ Scouting Report - Newcastle will see a shuffle in halves with Connor Watson out long-term with a long term injury. He will be replaced by Brock Lamb who played a lot of First Grade last season and is a player of promise. The Knights need to tighten up their defence which has leaked 11 tries in the last two games.
Verdict - Dragons by 16-26
I think the Dragons are morals here, and I can see them racking up another big score. I think this is a really serious footy team this year, with the ability to blow you away as well as the ability to be physically dominant up front. I just think the Knights are a new side, learning on the run, and their defence has been pretty brittle over the opening three weeks, which could see them in real trouble here against a rampant Dragons’ side. The Saints always love playing at their traditional home grounds, and I see them securing another big victory here to stay top of the table.
