NRL Round 4 Preview - Broncos v Titans @ Suncorp Stadium

Brisbane Broncos v Gold Coast Titans @ Suncorp Stadium
Preview - We get a Queensland Derby on Easter Sunday as the Broncos and the Titans lock horns at Suncorp Stadium. The Broncos will be looking for a third straight win after their controversial 9-7 Golden Point victory over the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown last Friday night. The Titans will be hoping to make amends for their embarrassing 54-8 loss to the Dragons with a second tight loss halting early season optimism on the glitter strip.
Brisbane Broncos’ Scouting Report - Tevita Pangai Jnr is out with a hamstring injury that is likely to sideline him for several weeks. Korbin Sims starts in the front row, however all the hype will be around young winger Jamayne Isaako who scored all his team’s nine points in the Broncos’ win over the Tigers. Corey Oates is out with a hip injury after leaving the game early last week.
Gold Coast Titans’ Scouting Report - Garth Brennan has shuffled his side after an awful performance last week, with Bryce Cartwright dropping to the bench following his poor form to start the season. Jai Arrow starts at lock, while Will Matthews is named to start in the back-row.
Verdict -Broncos by 12-22 in a high scoring game
I fear a bit for the Titans here, as they have an awful record against Brisbane and fell apart last week against the Dragons in the second half last week. The Broncos have put up some big scores against the Titans, and have the strike power to do that again, with just about a full strength side at their disposal. I expect some sort of reaction from the Titans this week so I don’t expect them to have 50 put on them. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they cough up another big score in what is sure to be a high scoring game in potentially hot conditions in Brisbane.
