Preview - The NFL season finally kicks off on Thursday night as the Patriots begin the quest of defending another title as they host the Chiefs at Gillette Stadium. The Bill Belichick-Tom Brady era keeps rolling on, with Brady back for a tilt at a 6th title after their thrilling 31-28 record come-from-behind victory in last year’s Super Bowl against the Falcons. The Chiefs are looking to go to the playoffs for the 3rd straight season under Andy Reid, after going 12-4 last season before being knocked out in Week 2 of the playoffs. 
 
Verdict - Patriots by 6-14 in a lower scoring game then expected 
 
Hard to tip against the defending Champions at home on opening night. The Chiefs’ defence will present a challenge for Tom Brady; however the Patriots have proved nearly unbeatable at home over the past couple of years. I think this game will be competitive, but I just don't think the Chiefs have the offence to go with the Patriots.
