NFL Week 3 - My Best 5 Bets

Dallas Cowboys (1-1) @ Arizona Cardinals (1-1) - University of Phoenix Stadium

BET = Cowboys -3 ($1.90)

I'm expecting a response from Dallas here after they were embarrassed in Denver. Arizona looked pretty ordinary last week in scraping over the line against what could be currently the worst side in the NFL in the Colts. If Dallas has any aims of being a Super Bowl contender this year they really need to go to places like Arizona and be able to win comfortably. Ezekiel Elliott had a really quiet game last week and I expect him to bounce back and Dallas to win big.

Atlanta Falcons (2-0) @ Detroit Lions (2-0) - Ford Field

BET = Lions +3 ($1.90)

I really think the Lions can win this game so I have to take them +3 at home. The Falcons are a very strong team, however they are nowhere near as dynamic an offence on the road as they are in their own stadium. The Lions proved very hard to beat at home last year and have already knocked over the Cardinals convincingly at Ford Field. Both these teams look like contenders this year, so I am expecting a very close and high quality game.

Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) @ Chicago Bears (0-2) - Soldier Field

BET = Over 40.5 Total Match Points ($1.90)

I know the Steelers have been involved in 2 relatively low scoring games, however their offence has been on the verge of hitting their straps in both wins over Cleveland and Minnesota. The Bears look like a bad team this year, however they managed 17 points at home in Week 1 and, if they can do something similar here against an unreliable Steelers' defence, the match should go over 40 total points.

Seattle Seahawks (1-1) @ Tennessee Titans (1-1) - Nissan Stadium

BET - Tennessee Titans - 2.5 ($1.90)

Nothing about the Seahawks has looked pretty, offensively, in the opening 2 rounds. They have managed just the one touchdown through 2 games, and were lucky to beat the listless 49ers at home last week. The Titans look a really strong and balanced side this year, and I think, after they disappointed their fans at home back in Week 1 against the Raiders, they will make up with it here with a big performance. I expect the Titans' defence to dominate and win by a touchdown or so.

Oakland Raiders (2-0) @ Washington Redskins (1-1) - FedEx Field

BET = Redskins +3 ($1.90)

The Raiders were not really tested last week against a pathetic Jets' team and I think the Redskins will be fired up at home for Sunday Night Football. While the Raiders have won 7 from their past 8 road games, 4 of those have been by 3 points or less. I'm not sure the Redskins will win this game, however you have to take them with the +3 at home with Kirk Cousins more than capable of finding some holes in the Raiders' leaky defence.
