NFL Week 3 Thursday Night Preview and Predictions - Rams @ 49ers

Los Angeles Rams (1-1) @ San Fransisco 49ers (0-2) - Levi Stadium
Preview - NFC West rivals the 49ers and Rams lock horns at Levi Stadium on Thursday Night Football. The 49ers are still searching for their 1st win of the season despite pushing the heavily favoured Seahawks all the way last week in a 12-9 loss. The Rams came crashing back to earth last week after a big victory on opening day, going down 27-20 to the Redskins at home. 2nd year quarterback Jared Goff has looked a lot more composed through 2 games this season but the pressure will be on him to deliver a win here against a winless opponent.
Verdict - 49ers by 1-6 in a low scoring game
The 49ers generally play the Rams pretty well having beaten them at least once in the past 2 seasons despite not winning many games overall. This is one of the few games on the calendar where they have a genuine chance and after their defence played outstandingly last week against the Seahawks I think they they will fancy their chances here of causing an upset. Expect this game to be low scoring and ugly at times with 17-20 points enough to claim victory.
