My Best 4 Bets for NRL Round 12

My Best 4 Bets for NRL Round 12

South Sydney Rabbitohs v Parramatta Eels @ ANZ Stadium

BET - South Sydney Rabbitohs -1.5

1.      The Rabbitohs have won 9 of their past 11 clashes against the Eels.

2.      The Eels have a shocking win record without Corey Norman, winning just 3 of their past 11 without him.

3.      The Rabbitohs are more desperate, given they have won just 4 games this season and another loss would see them with a mountain to climb.

4.      Mitchell Moses is out of form and it is going to take time for him to fit in at Parramatta without making errors.

5.      I just fancy Souths here, even their form the past 2 weeks, I think they can grind out a close win.

2. New Zealand Warriors v Brisbane Broncos @ Mount Smart Stadium

BET = Over 40.5 Total Match Points

1.      Last season when the sides clashed at Mount Smart Stadium, it was a high scoring match with the Warriors winning 36-18.

2.      The Broncos’ attack has really clicked into gear of late, averaging close to 30 points per game in their 6-game winning streak.

3.      The Warriors’ defence has been very shoddy in the past 2 weeks,  conceding 66 points against the Panthers and Dragons, at an average of 33 points per game.

4.      Both these sides have liked to play expansive football this year, with both teams willing to attack early in sets and spread the ball around.

5.      I just think this game will be a really entertaining game with plenty of tries in it as was the case last year when the sides met.

3. Cronulla Sharks v Canterbury Bulldogs @ Shark Park

BET = Bulldogs +5.5

1.      The Bulldogs have only been beaten by 13+ twice this season, and usually when they lose, they go down narrowly.

2.      The Sharks are yet to win a home game by more than 5 points this season.

3.      The Bulldogs have an outstanding record at Shark Park, having won 6 from their past 7 games there.

4.      Whilst the Bulldogs are missing senior players, the Sharks are missing genuine point scoring attacking weapons in Maloney, Bird, Fifita and Graham.

5.      I just think this game is going to be a low scoring grind, and even if the Bulldogs lose, it will be by 2 or 4.

4. Canberra Raiders v Sydney Roosters @ GIO Stadium

BET = Over 43.5 Total Match Points

1.      Afternoon games in Canberra generally mean plenty of points, with a fast track suited to attacking football.

2.      With the Roosters missing plenty of key players, defensively I expect them to be nowhere near their best.

3.      The last time the Raiders played Sunday afternoon football at home they racked up 46 points against the Tigers.

4.      Despite missing some key personnel, the Roosters maintain an attacking threat with the likes of Keary, Watson Tupou, Mitchell and Gordon.

5.      I just expect this game to be high scoring in dry conditions given both sides like to attack.
