NRL Round 11 Preview and Prediction - Brisbane Broncos v Wests Tigers @ Suncorp Stadium

Brisbane Broncos v Wests Tigers @ Suncorp Stadium
Preview - The Broncos will be gunning for a 6th straight win before the taxing Origin period when they host the struggling Wests Tigers at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night. After a shaky start to the season, where the Broncos won just 2 from their first 5 games, they have surged into the Top 4 thanks to a string of impressive victories. Once again they were forced to come from behind last week after they trialled Manly 14-0, only to power home in the second half for a 24-14 victory which takes them in to the Top 4 for the first time this season. The Tigers were miserable in their 28-8 loss to Souths as they never once looked in a game that was riddled with errors on a wet night in Sydney. Sitting on just 3 wins from their first 10 games, the Tigers are staring square in the face of a 6th straight season outside the finals.
History - Last season the Tigers stunned the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium, winning 19-18, with both sides missing their Origin players. Before that victory last season, the Tigers had a terrible record against the Broncos, losing their past 6 and managing just 4 victories from 13 attempts at Suncorp Stadium. Overall, the Broncos hold a commanding advantage, having won 19 games against the Tigers, with only 5 defeats and 1 draw.
Brisbane Broncos’ Scouting Report - After having a few injuries of late, the Broncos appear to be getting back to full strength here with James Roberts fit to take his place in the centres. Ben Hunt has also been named on an extended bench and is a chance to return from his hamstring injury. Replacement halfback, Kodi Nikorima, has done an admirable job in Hunt's place, winning every game and putting in some solid performances.
Wests Tigers’ Scouting Report - The Tigers finally granted Mitchell Moses a release from his contract after he put in back-to-back awful performances against the Sharks and Rabbitohs. Coming in for Moses is Jack Littlejohn who has filled in in the halves for the Tigers at various times in the past 2 years. Captain Aaron Woods has been named to return, but remains in doubt with a hamstring injury.
Verdict - Broncos by 30+
I think this could get really ugly for the Tigers here. The Broncos appear to be back close to full strength and this is the last game before they get ripped apart for a while with the Origin period. The Tigers looked to have hit a wall completely last week and there were a number of very alarming signs in their loss to Souths last week. The fact they missed 57 tackles was very concerning and I just don't think the Tigers are in a good place at the moment, despite finally releasing Mitchell Moses. James Tedesco is out of form and, with Aaron Woods in doubt, this Tigers side looks totally out gunned in the forwards and the backs. If the Broncos get a sniff of a big score here I expect them to turn on the style in front of the home fans and I think could easily score 40+ points in this game.
